Day 22 Hot Springs, SD to Rapid City, SD

Darn! It was only 9:30 AM when I passed by the PURPLE PIE PLACE in Custer, SD and it was closed! It could very well have served me the best piece of pie in the USA on this bike trip -- but I'll never know. I had miles to go and places to see on my journey to Rapid City, SD this day.
This is the turn off from the highway to the scupture in progress called Crazy Horse. Only the face is complete as of now. It can be seen on the side of the mountain in the middle of the photo. It was raining when I got here so I didn't stop long.
