I arrived in Oregon safe and ready to meet the gang

I arrived in the beautiful state of Oregon, where we will begine our trek across the USA. I drove from Portland 100 miles along the Columbia River out to the coast town of Astoria today. What a beautiful drive. Lots of lumber mills along the river. Lush green everywhere. Lots of pine trees out here in the western state. I was so excited was anxious to get to the Holiday Inn to find my bike and put it together and meet the other cyclist and the staff of America By Bicycle.
