Day 10 Boise, ID to Mountain Home, ID photos
At the Westside Drive-In they serve the famous Idaho Ice Cream Potato. You can see above that I've already taken a few bites. It is a treat of ice cream shaped into an Idaho Potato, rolled in fine powered chocolate, a slit through the top is then filled with whipped cream and the 'bacon bits' are dark chocolate and nuts topping the potato. Such fun! I ate one of these the last time through here and was delighted that Deanna and Al took Christine and I to this place to get this unique dessert.
Part of the menu sign outside of the drive-In that tells about the Idaho Ice Cream Potato.
The Westside Drive-In was a real "50's" place, with 50's music playing. This is where we got the yumming ice cream treat.
Deanna's car. The license plate says, "CYCLIST"
