Day 6 John Day, OR to Baker City, OR photos

Coming all the way from Germany is Eberhard Messling. His wife Anja is here on this trip too. They own and operate a bike touring company in Germany and the Island of Majorca (spl?). He says that that island off the coast of Spain is the most popular spot for bicyclist to go in the winter months. Over 80,000 cyclists come to ride there every year. Their company is Diana Sports. www.dianasports.de This photo was taken coming down from Dixie summit and we had to wait for some construction traffic light.
A plaque found next to the entrance to the Outpost cafe in John Day. We ate our dinner there last night and our breakfast this morning.
So many pine cones everywhere. They are big ones too!
A young bull lost along rte 7. He just kept on walking down the road. Nancy and I were riding together and we were glad he didn't come charging after us! Posted by Picasa
