Day 7 Baker City, OR to Ontario, OR Photos
This was some of the terrain coming out of Baker City, OR. I noticed a small mine entrance on the side of this hill. The terrain was rolling -- all downhill on the roads we were on.
Leaving Pacific time. We gained an hour today, so we stopped here to set our watches ahead an hour.
All along the hot and windy stretch of the last 25 miles there was a lot of farm lands. Lots of big commercial hay bales with hundreds of fresh baled crop.
Chuck from Cincinnati, OH. We were all eating at the Sizzler Steak House and when he asked for a refill on his lemonade the waitress came with this SUPER SIZE ME glass. We are all drinking so much fluid all the time now, so of course Chuck had no problem finishing this off right away. Chuck is a retired Air Force pilot. He decided that instead of seeing the USA for years at 500 mph he would ride the US and see it at 15 mph!
