Day 5 Prineville, OR to John Day, OR

Our first summit today. Ochoco is an Indian tribe in this area. It was really hot getting up to this point. And we were cooled off by the 25 miles on downhill that followed.
PIE!! And it was the BEST blueberry pie ever. It was the sugar rush that I need to help me climb 7 miles to the summit Ochoco Pass.
Next summit was Keyes. Whew! was it hot. Sara and Nancy.
Now this is the sign all bikers love to see! DOWN. This 7 mile downhill really cooled us off from the blistering heat.
